First step to close the cycle “Enginnering: from satellite to final application”.
This week we have successfully tested the new antenna which has been built in Argentina. It works well with a Mini 70 amplifier. We downloaded the BugSat1 (TITA) beacon, directly from the satellite, using gpredict, gqrx, and GNU Radio (helped by
gr-satellites). Finally, we decoded audio as we expected.
It was our first step to complete the cycle, from satellite to final application (
Unlam Ground Segment). Also, we are planning to create a SatNogs ground station soon!
